I strongly believe in supporting local small business, industry, artisans, and in giving back to the community that I live in. My hobby of writing pysanka (easter eggs) has allowed me to give back by doing free demos and classes. The teachers that have taught my children over the years have had me in their classes, and I have often donated my work for charity. I have mentored young students just graduating and helped them write resumés and cover letters.

I have been blessed to be able to serve on the board of directors for the CBWC Foundation using my knowledge of finance and credit to help other charities. I have organized many fundraisers and been able to help donate materials to a local community non-profit preschool. I also encourage seniors on how they can protect themselves from fraud and online scams.

I love where I live and the people around me; the community is so important.
